Blackboard

Blackboard Collaborate is an E-Learning platform which can be used to create online courses. Thanks to Blackboard teaches can develop their training courses in modules that are completely virtual, check the progress of their students and assign grades. A specific feature of Blackboard is that it has an integrated videocall system to have live classes, which is something that other E.Learning platforms do not offer. It is one of the seven platformsthat compose the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS). Blackboard Collaborate is widespread especially among higher education institutions, but it is also used by companies for HR development and training.

Examples of application:

At the beginning of Covid pandemic, the implementation of Blackboard Collaborate allowed Università di Urbino to immediately transfer all 38 courses onlline, involving 10.000 students to attend lessons everyday and interact with teachers through chat and direct questions. Furthermore, Blackboard Collaborate hosted streaming dissertations and graduation sessions.
