Wakelet is a website that work as a container for all sorts of materials and multimedia resources that teachers needs to share with their classes or colleagues. It is visually captivating thanks to a nice graphic and the possibility to organise the content on a “stream”, so that all information that can be easilty browsed by scrolling up and down. It is completely free and specifically designed for educators.

Examples of application:

Wakelet has found many different field of application in education it can be used to:
– Create newsletters for students for reminding deadlines/events/classes in the upcoming month or highlighting the achievements
– Create a lesson plan/syllabus of a training module or the entire course (or for a specific subject)
– Create group project where students can upload content
– Make students create a research project and present it/or submitting it to the teacher
– Give assignements to the students to be carried out on Wakelet. Students can upload the results of their job on Wakelet and even show it to the rest of the class
– Create students portfolios in preparation of exams or tests
– Create reading lists for students
