Flipgrid
Flipgrid is an online platform that use video made by studnets to create discussion and make it a tool for creative learning. Teachers can create “grids”, groups of learners that could include the entire class and post “topics” in them. Topics can be created in the form of questions, videos, articles, etc., and shared within the grids of learners, through a simple code. Students can record creative video related to the topic, feed the discussion on the topic with other grids members and with their teacher.

Examples of application:
Flipgrid can be use at the beginning of the school year, when students don’t know each other to present themselves (eg. familiy, hobbies etc.) in a 90 second video.
Teachers can create assignments on topics asking the students to produce and edit a video to explain their research, including all sources of information. The classroom can continue working by posting the videos accordin to the assignements of teachers.
Flipgrid has integrated some editing tools that allows students to edit and produce videos very easily even with the cameras of their mobile phones or with the computer webcams.
