Learningapps

LearningApps.org is a Web 2.0 application, to support learning and teaching processes with small INTERACTIVE GAMES AND EXERCISESs/modules which can be created by teachers according to their needs. Such modules can be used directly in classes with students as interactive excercices, but also for deepening the content of a lesson through self studying. The website contains a wide range of modules created by users in many languages, but it is possible to create an account and design excercices drawing from 19 different types of activities (es. matching; timelines; closed texts; puzzles; crosswords; etc.).

Examples of application:

Example of syncronous activity: students can be divided in groups and complete the games of matching pairs to gain more knowledge on the history of Britain. The teachers can either observe the work or act as moderaton and guide the logical reasoning of the group. https://learningapps.org/359945
