Jamboard
Jamboard is an online whiteboard that allows to have real time collaboration. With Jamboard, you can: write and draw; search Google and insert images or webpages; add Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Jamboard is integrated with google meet and can be used as a shared witeboard during online meetings. All the Jamboards can be archived on google drive. Finally it is possible to create “slides” on a Jamboard which makes it easier to present the result of a brainstorming.
Examples of application:
Example of syncronous activity: Jamboard is an ideal tool for cooperative learning. It can be used to create assignments for groups of students based on: brainstorming sessions; creation of timelines; conceptual maps and many more. A practical use of this tool for a goup of students in a business course could be to sketch an itinerary for a package to be sold by a travel agency and produce a commecial leaflet (thus exploiting the possibility of creating multiple slides on Jamboards).
Example of asyncronous activity: students can be assigned to summarise on Jamboard a paper or a reseach they have carried out and present it to the class.
